Easy to grow. Easy to cook. Rhubarb loves our local climate. We have over 60 potted rhubarb plants for sale this spring, to support our rhubarb revolution in Dunoon!

Rhubarb is the key ingredient in our signature Dunoon Goes POP Rhubob pop syrup, inspired by local legend Robert ‘Bob’ Bryden, architect of Dunoon Burgh Hall. Not only does rhubarb make yummy soft drinks, but you can also make mouthwatering puddings and tasty preserves.
"Since it's so easy to grow, it makes a great edible plant for beginner gardeners."
Rhubarb is not too fussy. It will be happiest planted directly into the soil in your garden, but you can plant it in a large container too. With your new rhubarb plant, you can harvest scrumptious rhubarb for many years to come. Read our handy rhubarb growing guide here.
Hannah Clinch, co-founder of Dunoon Goes POP thinks it's a great plant to grow with children:
“Children love to learn how to grow rhubarb and cook with it. Since it’s so easy to grow, it makes a great edible plant for beginner gardeners. Expert gardeners also love to grow this tasty plant, since it is so versatile and easy to cook with.”

We're selling four rhubarb varieties this spring
Choose from four different potted varieties, which are £15 each:
Victoria: the classic heritage variety known for its big juicy stems.
Stockbridge Arrow: an early-season cropper with long and thick stems.
Glaskin’s Perpetual: long and tender red stalks, excellent for forcing.
Everbarber Potstar: extraordinarily productive variety with cherry red stems.
These will be available to buy from Monday, 3 February.
By purchasing this Scotland-grown rhubarb, you support Dunoon Goes POP and our local rhubarb revolution. You are also adding a tasty plant to your garden.
Our rhubarb plants are sold for local collection only, available to collect from POP shop on 28 Hillfoot Street, Dunoon, PA23 7DS.
Note: the stalks are edible, but the leaves are not, so always cut them off before cooking.
