Dunoon's rhubarb festival, hosted by Dunoon Goes POP, is back for it's second year.

Dunoon's Rhubarb Festival 2026
25 July, 11am to 4pm
At the POP shop, 28 Hillfoot Street, and along Hillfoot Street.

All about rhubarb
The Rhubarb Festival brings Dunoon's community, visitors and businesses together on Hillfoot Street to celebrate our local food and drink culture through one tasty ingredient, rhubarb!

Dunoon, where rhubarb matters
We launched Dunoon's first Rhubarb Festival in 2025. People from near and far came to Hillfoot Street and the POP shop's Dunoon Goes POP Drinks Garden for talks, games, cooking and gardening demonstrations, plus the popular rhubarb produce competitions.
This year, we're expanding. Other businesses on Hillfoot Street are joining us for this year's rhubarb extravaganza.

The Rhubarb Festival is hosted by Dunoon Goes POP, the POP shop's soft drinks enterprise. And it is part of Taste Dunoon food and drinks festival produced by Dunoon Presents.
This year's festival will include:
Rhubarb produce competitions
For growers, creative cooks and makers.
Games, talks, tastings and more
At the POP shop, Dunoon Goes POP Drinks Garden and venues along Hillfoot Street. We have more information on the day's line-up coming soon.

"We’re excited about bringing local people, visitors and local businesses together to celebrate Dunoon's food and drink culture through the tasty garden favourite at the Dunoon Rhubarb Festival."

"At this year's Dunoon Rhubarb Festival, hosted by Dunoon Goes POP, expect games, talks, competitions and new venues along Hillfoot Street sharing in the rhubarb celebrations."

"In Dunoon, taste matters. Our rhubarb festival competitions encourage entries from creative cooks, bakers and growers to showcase their best rhubarb produce."

“The appetite for growing and cooking with rhubarb is strong in Dunoon. It is an easy-to-grow garden plant that enjoys our local climate. That's why we're leading a rhubarb revolution for Dunoon! We think Dunoon can become the rhubarb capital of Scotland.”

"We're delighted that the Rhubarb Festival is part of the Taste Dunoon food and drink festival produced by Dunoon Presents this year."

Sai Wong-Walsh, from Planted By Sai. Sai was one of the local businesses who entered the competitions in 2025.

" I love that Dunoon Goes Pop are having another Rhubarb festival!
It was truly exciting to have been a part of the Rhubarb Festival last year, having entered their wonderful competition with so many talented bakers and skilled makers. What an honour it was to win second place. For anyone thinking about entering, go for it!"
And, have you visited the Dunoon Goes POP drinks garden? What they have created is truly magical. It’s like a treasure trove of beautiful flowers, as well as rhubarb, which feels like a secret garden. Make use of the festival, join in, enjoy and soak up the atmosphere.
