Dunoon Goes POP: 150 bottles launch event
Join our Dunoon Goes POP project launch on Sunday 29 October, from 12:30pm, to 3pm. To celebrate 150 years of Dunoon Burgh Hall we’re bringing people together in Dunoon to create 150 bottles of a rhubarb-flavoured commemorative pop.

About the event
Inspired by Dunoon’s history of soft-drinks-manufacturing heritage, this new Dunoon Goes POP project is looking for local people to get involved. The project will involve
- Growing rhubarb
- Gathering heritage stories around Dunoon’s soft-drinks heritage
- Learning about the history of rhubarb
- Learning about our town’s connection to sugar and slavery
- Learning how to make rhubarb pop
- Selling 150 bottles of our rhubarb commemorative pop
